Working with shapefile data in R Posted on May 6, 2014 by Charles Preppernau | 1 Reply The goal of this project was to use R to run statistical operations on data from ESRI shapefiles, and see about getting the results of these operations back into a format that can be used in ArcGIS. In this case, the Shape column's Spatial Reference property will be Unknown or Assumed Geographic.
